15: 1947 - 1956 Série com tipos novos de 10, 20 e 50 centavos.
Depois o deposto do Presidente Vargas em 29 de outubro de 1945 entrou o novo presidente general Eurico Gaspar Dutra (1946-1951). Até 1947/1948 a imagem do ex-presidente Vargas ficou nas moedas. A partir de 1947 entrou um novo tipo de 10 centavos com a imagem de José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva (1763-1838). Logo depois en 1948 as moedas de 20 e 50 centavos foram cunhadas com as imegems de Ruy Barbosa (20 centavos) e o novo presidente General Eurico Gaspar Dutra (50 centavos). As moedas de 1 e 2 cruzeiros não mudaram e a cunhagem das moedas de 5 cruzeiros ja acabou depois 1943. No ano 1951 Getúlio Vargas novamente foi eleita presidente e ficou até 1954. Ele não mudou a série e portanto a imagem do ex-presidento Dutra ficou nas moedas de 50 centavos.

Na het gedwongen aftreden van president Vargas op 29 oktober 1945 kwam generaal Eurico Gaspar Dutra aan de macht (1946-1951). Tot 1947/1948 bleef de afbeelding van ex-president Vargas echter nog gehandhaaft op de munten van 10 tot 50 centavos. Vanaf 1947 verscheen op de munten van 10 cent echter het portret van José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva (1763-1838). Vlak daarna in 1948 werden ook de munten van 20 en 50 centavos gewijzigd met de portretten van respectievelijk Ruy Barbosa (20 centavos) en de nieuwe president generaal Eurico Gaspar Dutra (50 centavos). De munten van 1 en 2 cruzeiros werden niet gewijzigd maar bleven tot het eind van de serie gelijk. De aanmunting van de munt van 5 cruzeiros was na 1943 reeds gestaakt. In 1951 werd Getúlio Vargas opnieuw tot president gekozen en bleef aan tot 1954. Hij heeft de serie niet meer veranderd waardor het portret van oud president Dutra op de munten van 50 centavos bleef verschijnen.

After the forced impeachment of president Vargas on october 29, 1945 general Eurico Gaspar Dutra came to power (1946-1951). Until 1947/1948 the portrait of former president Vargas remained on the coins. In 1947 however the coin of 10 centavos was changed with the portrait of José Bonifácio de Andrada e Silva (1763-1838). Soon after that in 1948 the other coins also were changed. The coins of 20 and 50 centavos recieved the portraits of Ruy Barbosa (20 centavos) and the new president general Eurico Gaspar Dutra (50 centavos). The coins of 1 en 2 cruzeiros were not changed but remained the same until the end of the series. The coinage of the 5 cruzeiros coin was already stopped since 1943. In 1951 Getúlio Vargas was re-elected president and stayed on until 1954. He made no changes to the series of coins thats why the portrait of ex-president Dutra remained on the coins of 50 centavos.
